Symposium Week

This week’s schedule is a little different from our usual meetings — 7 pm arrival, social & food; 7:30 pm presentations and discussions; 9 pm wrap-up. Great creative work is historically done together, across backgrounds and disciplines, in small, high-trust groups — and a reading club is a seed for that kind of boundary-pushing work in engineering, science, art, and more. It doesn’t have to be directly ML related: bring something that excites you — a paper of your own, someone else’s work, art, computer engineering, bio, neuro, history, poems, books, podcasts, a song, or a theorem; everything else is fair game.

We still have room for more papers — if you’d like to present, fill out the short sign-up form or send a message. Presentations run 5 to ~15 minutes, each followed by an MLn-style discussion.
